The non-conventional analysis and re-treatment is performed of the most significant experimental data, including data on the hydrogen sorption by graphite and novel carbon-based nanomaterials (single-walled and multi-walled nanotubes, graphite nanofibers, nanostructured graphites) at technological (moderate) temperatures and pressures. Thermodynamic, kinetic and diffusion fundamental characteristics of sorption processes are refined and compared with the theoretical quantities and models, for better understanding and technological optimizing the interaction between hydrogen and carbon materials.
